The General Accountant & Finance Operations role is a full-time, on-site position based in Sharjah. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, including recording journal entries, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts. The accountant will prepare and review financial statements, support monthly and annual closing processes, and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities include using accounting software to process transactions, monitor cash flows, and support budgeting and forecasting activities. The role also involves analyzing financial data, supporting internal controls, assisting with audits, and collaborating with other departments to resolve financial queries and improve operational efficiency.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Two to five years of relevant professional experience.
- Professional working proficiency in English, at least B2 level.
- Hands-on experience managing the full accounting cycle.
- Ability to maintain and manage the accounting records of two separate legal entities.
