About the Role
As General Accountant at Bitunix you will handle all aspects of the company’s general ledger — recording transactions, reconciling crypto and fiat accounts, preparing financial statements, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a fast-paced digital asset environment. You will work closely with the CFO to support financial planning, internal controls, and audit readiness.
Key Requirements
- 3+ years of accounting experience; exposure to fintech, crypto, or digital assets is a strong advantage
- Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, financial statements, and reconciliations
- Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations and financial reporting requirements
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or crypto-specific tools)
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a high-growth startup environment
