About the Opportunity
This is not a typical job posting — it’s a developer competition.
We’re inviting20 shortlisted applicants to compete for 1 full-time position as Front-End Developer (React Native) at SureSpace.
The goal is to find the most passionate, capable, and creative engineer to join our growing team. You’ll work directly with Demetrius Vissarion (Back-End Developer) on an app already live in testing stages for both iOS and Android.
Our Tech Stack
- Mobile Frontend: React Native (iOS & Android)
- Backend: Node.js (JavaScript)
- Database: Microsoft SQL Server (on Azure)
- Hosting: Azure VM (Ubuntu) + Azure SQL Databases (safespace_staging, safespace_production)
- Authentication: Firebase Authentication
- Feeds & Messaging: Stream Activity Feeds + Stream Chat
- Web Platforms: WordPress (main site), React (Admin Dashboard)
What You’ll Do
- Build and refine the SureSpace React Native app for both iOS and Android.
- Collaborate with the back-end developer to integrate Node.js APIs and real-time features.
- Implement Firebase Authentication for user accounts.
- Integrate Stream Chat and Activity Feeds for community interactions.
- Ensure high-quality UI/UX with smooth animations and responsive design.
- Deploy app versions to Google Play and Apple App Store.
- Participate in product discussions and contribute creative technical ideas.
Who We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience with React Native (or strong portfolio work).
- Hands-on experience publishing to Google Play and App Store.
- Solid grasp of JavaScript (ES6+), API integrations, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Firebase, Azure, or Stream APIs is a plus.
- Self-driven, communicative, and excited about building human-centered technology.
Competition Format
- Application Deadline: 20th November 2025
- Shortlisting: 20 candidates selected to compete.
- Challenge Round: Each candidate will complete a small technical challenge and brief interview.
- Final Selection: 1 candidate will be chosen as Front-End Developer at SureSpace on 25th November 2025.
