Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement FPGA firmware for various digital hardware applications
- Develop and optimize RTL (Register Transfer Level) code using VHDL or Verilog
- Perform synthesis, place-and-route, and timing closure tasks on FPGA devices
- Work with industry-standard FPGA development tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, etc.
- Design digital logic circuits and systems, including combinational and sequential logic
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to design interfaces and integrate FPGA-based solutions
- Develop test benches and perform thorough simulations to verify designs
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of FPGA design experience
- Proficiency in VHDL and/or Verilog
- Experience with Xilinx and/or Intel (Altera) FPGA families
- Knowledge of high-speed digital interfaces (PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, etc.)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Experience in defense or aerospace applications
- Knowledge of embedded systems and DSP
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications or experience in Software Engineering are advantageous.
