Key Responsibilities

  • Based at the Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai within the Finance Department in Dubai, the Cost Controller is responsible for maintaining effective cost control across the Hotel and for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventories, purchasing prices, receiving, stores, product costing and related system interfaces. Cost Controller reports to the Chief Accountant.
  • Cost Controller, you will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Monitor and analyze food, beverage, and inventory-related costs against budgets and forecasts, investigate variances, prepare cost reports, and recommend actions to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Manage inventory accuracy by overseeing stock records, physical counts, reconciliations, par levels, inventory turnover, and initiatives to reduce wastage, excess stock, and obsolescence.
