About the Role
This is a part-time remote role for a Cloud Engineer supporting the Lider Self Service Car Wash System platform. The Cloud Engineer will design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure for monitoring, controlling, and optimizing self-service car wash systems. Day-to-day tasks include managing cloud environments, configuring servers and services, integrating software components, and ensuring secure, reliable data flow between devices and backend systems. The role involves collaborating with developers and technical support staff, troubleshooting system issues, improving performance and scalability, and creating documentation for deployments and operational procedures. The Cloud Engineer will also contribute to automation, backups, and monitoring to keep systems stable and responsive.
Candidates should possess skills in Cloud Computing and Infrastructure, including experience with major cloud providers and infrastructure-as-code tools.
Candidates should possess skills in Software Development, such as scripting or programming for automation, integration, and backend services.
Candidates should possess skills in Linux system administration for configuring, securing, and maintaining servers and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Candidates should possess skills in working with Databases, including basic design, querying, performance tuning, and data security.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, security best practices, and monitoring tools for distributed systems.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time hours effectively, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience with IoT, industrial systems, or machine integration is an advantage.
