Dawia Family Office, a boutique financial services firm serving high-net-worth clients and family groups, is looking for a meticulous and reliable Client Accountant (Junior) to join its Dubai team. This on-site role offers valuable exposure to sophisticated family office operations and a direct career path in private wealth accounting.
About the Role
You’ll take full ownership of the accounting for an assigned portfolio of family office clients—maintaining accurate ledgers in Zoho Books, processing supplier payments and WPS salary runs via a strict Maker/Checker process, performing weekly bank reconciliations, and preparing VAT schedules. You’ll be the primary accounting point of contact for your clients, communicating professionally and escalating issues appropriately. The environment rewards precision, discretion, and proactive ownership.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience with strong UAE market exposure (mandatory)
- Hands-on Zoho Books experience (or comparable cloud accounting platform); proficiency required within 30 days
- Solid working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax (Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022)
- Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formula-based reconciliation
