The Chief Engineer is responsible for leading the Engineering department to ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of all hotel facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. The role oversees preventive maintenance, energy management, regulatory compliance, renovation projects, and the delivery of exceptional guest and colleague experiences while supporting the hotel’s sustainability initiatives.
Lead and manage all engineering and maintenance operations across the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal asset performance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire, environmental, and local regulatory requirements.
- Manage departmental budgets, maintenance contracts, and capital expenditure projects.
- Oversee utilities, energy conservation, and sustainability initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
