About the Role & Company
AlgoDriven is hiring a Back End Developer in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You’d be plugging into a Software Engineering team where the workload is growing, not shrinking. Career-wise, joining a growing team beats a static one; there’s more room to shape scope early. Core Back End Developer deliverables sit at the center, with cross-functional work layered on when priorities shift. GCC demand for software engineering skills is still healthy, and Dubai continues to sit at the top of the regional pay bands. Anyone at the mid-level should read this as a chance to broaden scope; anyone earlier in their career gets meaningful work sooner than most training paths would offer.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years building production backend systems in
- Real-world real depth in both, not familiarity with one
- Proven track record with proven ability to debug and improve live systems
- Competitive salary based on experience
Job Description
AlgoDriven builds SaaS for the automotive industry across Australia, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Europe. EvalExpert for trade-in appraisals, DriveExpert for test-drive management, and our pricing and VIN-decode APIs process large volumes of data daily for dealerships and OEM partners.
We’re growing our Dubai engineering team.
we’re an AI-first engineering team, and we mean something specific by it. Our engineers drive coding agents wired into the terminal, the repo, the test suite and the deploy pipeline, and take features from a written spec to production with the agent doing most of the typing. Your job is to decide what to build, write a brief precise enough to act on, review hard, and own the result.
Editor autocomplete is not what we mean. If your AI use stops at Copilot suggesting the next line, this role won’t fit. If you’ve written specs an agent built from, hooked agents up to your own CLI tools or MCP servers, had them run tests and touch infrastructure, and you know where they fail โ you’ll fit well.
Own backend features end to end: spec, build, deploy, monitor, iterate
Drive AI coding agents across that whole path, and improve the agent tooling the team relies on
ATS Resume Tips for This Role
To get past Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) for this Back End Developer opening, tailor your resume with the pointers below:
- Include these keywords verbatim in your Skills and Experience sections: JavaScript, React, Node.js, AWS, Docker, SQL, Python, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git. ATS parsers match exact strings, not synonyms.
- Use a single-column layout. Two-column resumes break parsers โ text gets scrambled or dropped.
- Save as .docx or standard .pdf (not scanned/image PDF). Avoid text boxes, headers, footers, graphics.
- Use standard section headings: Experience, Education, Skills, Certifications.
- Mirror the exact job title (Back End Developer) in your target role line where truthful.
- Quantify results with numbers, percentages, currency. Metrics improve ATS scoring and human review.
- Spell acronyms out once (e.g., Search Engine Optimization (SEO)) so parser catches both forms.
- Font: Arial, Calibri, or Times New Roman at 10-12pt. Fancy fonts can render as unreadable glyphs.
