Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and management accounts
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury functions
- Perform financial analysis, budgeting support, and variance reporting
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, local tax regulations, and internal controls
- Coordinate with external auditors and support audit preparation
- Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff
- Support the Finance Manager in special projects and strategic initiatives
Skills Required
- 5-7 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics)
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience in the UAE or GCC market
- Knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications or experience in Accounts & Finance are advantageous.
