Role Overview: The AI Data Ops Engineer will build and maintain the data infrastructure that powers AI and machine learning systems, ensuring high-quality, reliable data pipelines that enable advanced analytics and AI model deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust data pipelines for AI/ML model training and inference
- Build and maintain data infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Implement data quality monitoring, validation, and lineage tracking
- Develop DataOps workflows integrating CI/CD best practices
- Work closely with data scientists to productionize ML models
- Manage data lake and data warehouse architectures
- Monitor data pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues
- Ensure data security, compliance, and governance standards
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with data pipeline tools (Apache Airflow, dbt, Spark)
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with cloud data platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code
- Familiarity with MLOps practices and model monitoring
- Understanding of data modeling and warehouse design
