Role Description
Kraken is seeking an AI Agents Solutions Architect to design and implement AI-driven automation solutions within its compliance function. This is a pioneering role at the cutting edge of applied AI — you will architect agentic systems that transform how Kraken manages regulatory obligations, AML monitoring, and KYC workflows at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and build AI agent systems for compliance automation (AML, KYC, transaction monitoring)
- Design multi-agent workflows using LLMs, RAG, and tool-use frameworks
- Partner with compliance, legal, and engineering teams to define requirements
- Evaluate and implement third-party AI tools and APIs
- Ensure AI systems meet regulatory and explainability standards
- Monitor deployed agents and iterate on performance
Requirements
- 5+ years in software engineering, ML engineering, or solutions architecture
- Hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, etc.)
- Understanding of compliance, AML, and KYC processes in financial services
- Strong Python skills and API integration experience
- Experience with crypto/Web3 environments is a significant advantage
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive technical solutions independently
