This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Dubai. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Responsibilities include processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The role also involves ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations, assisting with audits, and implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets. The Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide accurate financial data, support management in decision-making, and contribute to process improvements within the finance function.
Strong foundation in financial accounting, including general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support planning and performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit processes relevant to the UAE and international best practices.
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as solid skills in Microsoft Excel and other productivity tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
