We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial records and reporting. In addition to strong technical accounting skills, the successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, a high level of integrity and professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards. The role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Maintain complete, accurate, and timely accounting records by preparing journal entries, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, and other general ledger transactions in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded, reconciled, and reported within established deadlines.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare accurate financial reports, schedules, and management information, including variance analysis and commentary, to support informed business decisions and identify trends or discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation, reconciliation, and timely submission of VAT returns while ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations and maintaining complete supporting documentation.
