About the Role
BookBI is the first AI-powered accounting app designed for entrepreneurs and startups in the UAE. The platform helps businesses manage their finances by allowing users to snap receipts, track sales, and access instant, smart financial reports. BookBI streamlines the creation of all necessary documents for regulatory submission, reducing manual effort and errors. With a focus on clarity and simplicity, the solution eliminates jargon and stress while remaining fully compliant with UAE requirements.
The Finance Executive will work on-site in Dubai in a full-time capacity, supporting BookBI’s financial operations and client-facing accounting activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting with financial reporting, and analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations. The role involves ensuring accurate recording of transactions, supporting tax-related processes, and collaborating with internal teams to improve financial workflows and reporting standards. The Finance Executive will also contribute to refining BookBI’s AI-powered finance features by providing domain knowledge and feedback on financial compliance and best practices.
Strong foundation in Finance with the ability to interpret and apply financial principles in a business context.
Experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and supporting end-of-period closing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Proficiency in Financial Reporting, including regulatory submissions and management reports.
- Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and supporting decision-making.
- Knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST) or similar indirect tax frameworks; familiarity with UAE tax and compliance standards is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) are a plus.
