Job Description 1. Oversee the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the firm, ensuring accurate and timely financial records. Oversee the complete billing, accounts receivable, collections and debt recovery process, including monitoring unbilled Work in Progress (WIP). Handle client and trust accounts, including reconciliations, client funds, disbursements and statements of account. Prepare and monitor annual budgets, cash-flow forecasts, income statements and financial performance reports for senior management meetings. Handle month-end and year-end closing processes, general ledgers and preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports. Prepare and keep up commission statements and summaries for internal fee earners. Handle accounts payable, supplier payments, client-related disbursements and petty cash. Handle and process monthly WPS payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable UAE what’s needed. Prepare and submit VAT and Corporate Tax returns, ensuring full compliance with UAE tax legislation and filing deadlines. Coordinate with external auditors, banks, tax advisers and other professional advisers as required.
