About the Role
As Account Manager – Local Shops at talabat in Dubai, you’ll be the primary commercial relationship owner for a portfolio of local grocery, bakery, and convenience store partners on the platform. You’ll onboard new merchants, optimise their digital presence, negotiate promotions, and use data insights to grow their order volume and GMV contribution. talabat’s local shops segment is one of its fastest-growing verticals — driven by UAE consumers’ appetite for instant delivery across every category. Key Requirements
- 2+ years of account management, partnership, or business development experience
- Comfort with data analysis and using insights to drive commercial recommendations
- Strong relationship-building skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with SME business owners
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Previous experience in food-tech, e-commerce, or marketplace platforms is a strong advantage
