Jebel Ali Cement Factory P.S.C. (JACF) is a leading manufacturer and supplier Cement & Slag based in Jebel Ali, Dubai, UAE.
The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring full compliance with UAE tax regulations, and supporting the monthly financial reporting cycle. The ideal candidate brings hands-on UAE accounting experience, a strong command of VAT and Corporate Tax requirements, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely posting of journal entries
Key Responsibilities
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures including accruals, prepayments, and provisions
- Reconcile bank accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inter-company balances
- Manage fixed asset register and process monthly depreciation entries
- Prepare and maintain schedules for inventory, investments, and other balance sheet items
