About the Role
Hyrd Consulting is a growing professional services and management consulting firm in Abu Dhabi, serving clients across government, energy, and financial sectors in the UAE and GCC.
Role Overview: The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations for Hyrd Consulting, supporting client billing, financial reporting, and compliance with UAE accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Conduct bank and account reconciliations
- Manage client invoicing, retainers, and project billing
- Handle UAE VAT registration, quarterly returns, and FTA compliance
- Assist with corporate tax preparation and filing
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Manage petty cash and staff expense reimbursements
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audit
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Tally, or SAP
- ACCA/CPA/CMA qualification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience in professional services or consulting is preferred
- High ethical standards and confidentiality
