Acwa Operations is a specialist facilities and property management company operating across residential and commercial developments in Dubai and the UAE.
Role Overview: The Accounting & Finance Support professional will assist the Finance Manager with day-to-day accounting operations, supporting Acwa Operations’ growing property management portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with monthly management accounts preparation
- Process payroll, staff expenses, and reimbursements
- Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts
- Assist with UAE VAT filings and compliance (FTA portal)
- Support audit preparation by providing financial documents and schedules
- Reconcile utility accounts, service charge calculations, and owner invoices
- Maintain organized financial records and filing systems
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of accounting experience, ideally in property management or FM
- Strong practical knowledge of UAE VAT regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or Yardi)
- Solid Excel skills for financial modelling and reporting
- Understanding of IFRS and UAE accounting standards
- Partially qualified (ACCA, CMA, or CPA) preferred but not required
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Experience with RERA/DLD regulations is an advantage
