PCS Wireless is a global technology distributor and re-commerce company dealing in mobile devices and electronics, operating from Dubai as a major regional hub for MENA distribution.
Role Overview: The Accounts Receivable Finance Assistant will support the finance team in managing invoicing, collections, and reconciliation for PCS Wireless’s high-volume trading operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and issue customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue invoices
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
- Process and post customer payments (bank transfers, cheques, online payments)
- Prepare weekly AR status reports and cash collection forecasts
- Liaise with the sales and operations team to resolve billing disputes
- Support month-end close processes including AR reconciliation
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation
- Assist in preparing for audits by providing AR supporting documents
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP)
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Good understanding of UAE VAT and financial regulations
- Attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of transactions
- Effective communication skills in English
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
