About the Role
Windmills Group – a leading UAE asset valuation and management advisory firm – is hiring a Finance Officer. You will play a crucial role in managing the company’s financial operations, covering accounting, payroll, VAT compliance, and financial reporting in line with IFRS and UAE regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements) in accordance with IFRS
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations including VAT (FTA) requirements and prepare VAT returns
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely collections and payments
- Process payroll in compliance with UAE Labour Law and WPS (Wage Protection System)
- Calculate salaries, overtime, deductions, and end-of-service benefits (EOSB)
- Manage foreign remittance transactions including currency exchange compliance
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting software entries
Requirements
- CPA or ACCA pathway preferred
- 5 years of relevant finance/accounting experience
- Strong understanding of IFRS and UAE tax regulations (VAT, Corporate Tax)
- Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho, QuickBooks, or SAP)
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
