Role Description

The Assistant Manager for Regulatory Reporting will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and submission of regulatory reports for Mashreq’s UAE operations and subsidiaries. You will work directly with Central Bank of UAE (CBUAE) reporting requirements and play a critical compliance role supporting Mashreq’s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports for Mashreq UAE operations and subsidiaries per CBUAE guidelines
  • Prepare GDL (Gross Dirham Lending) and Cash Reserve returns for MB UAE
  • Post regulatory transactions in Flexcube core banking system
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, validate, and reconcile reporting data
  • Address data issues with relevant departments to ensure accuracy
  • Monitor regulatory changes and update reporting processes accordingly
  • Drive automation and process improvements in regulatory reporting with Technology
  • Support audits through documentation and compliance assessments

Requirements

  • UAE National (Emirati) — required for this role
  • Accounting or finance degree with 3–5 years’ banking or financial institution experience
  • Strong analytical mindset and exceptional attention to detail
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Knowledge of CBUAE regulatory reporting requirements preferred
  • Experience with Flexcube or similar core banking systems is advantageous
