Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), one of the world’s largest IT services and consulting organisations, is recruiting a skilled Databricks Developer to join its MEA team in Dubai. This on-site full-time role places you at the heart of enterprise AI and analytics transformation for major regional clients.
About the Role
You’ll design, develop, and optimise data engineering solutions on the Databricks platform—building high-performance Apache Spark jobs using PySpark and Spark SQL, creating robust ETL/ELT pipelines, and enabling AI/ML workloads at enterprise scale. You’ll collaborate with Data Scientists to operationalise models, support BI and reporting platforms, and ensure data governance and compliance across all pipelines. Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and MLflow experience is a strong plus.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Databricks Developer with hands-on Apache Spark (PySpark/Spark SQL) expertise
- Strong SQL skills for complex query writing, performance tuning, and analytics-ready dataset creation
- Proficiency in Python for data engineering, feature engineering, and ML pipeline support
- Experience building and maintaining large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines with data quality checks
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and enterprise analytics environments
